Tyre and Rubber Recycling Magazine

Tyre and Rubber Recycling is a specialist magazine for the tyre and rubber recycling industry. Launched in 2009, it has quickly become established as the leading European business journal for tyre collectors, reproccessors and recyclers.

The magazine is published by Retreading Business Ltd, a small, specialist publishing company owned by British tyre industry journalist and publisher, David Wilson, who has over 20 years experience in the tyre publishing sector.

In addition to Tyre and Rubber Recycling, Retreading Business Ltd also publishes Retreading Business, the world’s leading magazine for the tyre retreading sector, and two websites, Tyres-Online, which is a consumer tyre information website aimed at UK readers and Tyre Price Advisor, the UK’s first tyre price comparison website.

Recycling International

Recycling International magazine is the voice of the worldwide recycling industries. Our monthly magazine combines in-depth articles with latest news stories: from recycling technology and scrap market updates, to reports about individuals and major companies. Over the past 15 years, Recycling International has been regularly reaching tens of thousands of people working within the recycling industries.

TRA

The TRA is a very recent newcomer to Britain’s tyre industry. Formed in July 2004 it was born out of a common sense of purpose and professionalism in which united its members.

A cornerstone of the new body is its support for the Tyre Industry Federation’s Responsible Recycler Scheme. All TRA members are fully accredited by the scheme, which guarantees that all tyres collected, recycled or reprocessed by them are disposed of or reused in an environmentally friendly or acceptable methods.

However, markets for tyre recovery continue to grow and develop and as the EU Landfill Directive is applied right across Europe a new intentional dimension will evolve.

The Tyre Recovery Association will have the independent ability to pursue its broader objectives at both industry and government levels, generate performance data specific to its member’s interests as well as develop stronger European links.

ITMA

With the sheer volume of rules and regulations affecting the industry, it is increasingly difficult for independent tyre brands to survive on their own within Europe. As the only trade association in Europe to exclusively represent the interests of imported tyre manufacturers, ITMA helps these brands compete effectively.

ITMA works closely with other tyre industry associations, UK government departments and the European Union. It acts swiftly and effectively in response to any proposed regulations that are likely to impact or affect its members.
